Quo Vadimus?
Hiya! I’m a battery materials researcher at the Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory (LLNL) in California. In the “smartest square mile on Earth”, I get to explore materials physics, electrochemistry, and advanced characterisation every day - all while learning from the brilliant staff scientists.
(This article is a great introduction to LLNL and how it executes the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) / National Nuclear Security Administration (NNSA)'s mission areas.)
My early career is leading me to an exciting intersection of energy, climate, and policy - which I believe is the zero-to-one challenge and opportunity we face in this century. Climate change and the energy transition are fascinatingly intersectional and I keep running into passionate individuals across disciplines outside my bubble, including art, theatre, agriculture, government, etc! Please feel free to connect with me over such, I would love to know more!
